Tusque

Tusque is an online gallery I’ve been developing with a collaborator through Hatrack. We wanted a distinctive setting for art, with a Parisian-Bohemian sensibility shaping the visual direction.

Building a digital setting for art

My work spans brand strategy, identity and motif development, visual experience design, and web development. The shared concept gives the project its direction; my contribution is helping translate that into a coherent brand and working website.

A gallery asks different things of an interface than a software product. The typography, spacing, and navigation need to give the work room while helping visitors understand where they are and what they can do.

Tusque is an early-stage collaborative venture. The ongoing work includes refining the presentation and the practical paths through the site as the gallery develops.
